Newly Refurbished SSC-R Chapel, Blessed
The main campus chapel to be known from hereon as St. Sebastian Chapel was
blessed last July 10, 2017 by Rev. Fr. Dionisio Q. Selma, OAR, Prior Provincial,
Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno together with other Recollect Priests.
Rev. Fr. Cristituto A, Palomar, OAR, school President gave a primer about the
renovation of the chapel while Rev. Fr. Samuel L. Eyas, OAR, VP for Religious Affairs
welcomed the guests who were present in the blessing ceremony. Fr. Selma, Fr. Palomar,
and Ar. Richard Tuason Sanchez-Bautista, Architect-in-charge of the renovation project
led the ribbon cutting ceremony. Rev. Fr. Julius M. Marcos, OAR, House Prior acknowledged
the presence of the guests and all those who contributed for the success of the renovation.
The unveiling of the Chapel Marker followed. The renovation was made possible by
the OAR Religious Community which includes Rev. Fr. Julius M. Marcos, OAR, Rev. Fr.
Cristituto A. Palomar, OAR, Rev. Fr. Don H. Besana, OAR, Rev. Fr. James Dexter R.
Tanquis, OAR, Rev. Fr. Samuel L. Eyas, OAR, Rev. Fr. James C. Castelo, OAR, Bro.

St. Sebastian Chapel now has an adoration chapel where students may spend more
quiet time with the God. For the comfort of everyone, the chapel is fully-airconditioned.
