CAMPUS MINISTRY ACTIVITIES (YEAR ROUND)

The following approaches are used by the Campus Ministry in the conduct of their activities and in the provision of services to the SSC-R community

• Formation Approach which includes the conduct of retreats, recollections, religious seminars and symposia, lectures and panel discussions.
• Pastoral Approach which includes community ser-vice, outreach programs, peer counseling, vocation promotion and catechesis.
• Liturgical Approach which includes Sacraments, prayer services, bible sharing, extra-liturgy, celebrations of feast days of saints and devotional worship.
• Pedagogical Approach which includes Bible study, publication on newsletters, giving of pre-sacramental instructions and film and slide analysis.
• Social Approach which includes conducting educational trips, outings and pilgrimages.

The Campus Ministry of San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Cavite aims to achieve the following:

1. To program, foster, and facilitate activities geared towards the spiritual growth of every Sebastinian.

2. To integrate the Augustinian Recollect Spiritu-ality and Charism which is embrace community life, friendship, study, work and prayers, among others, into such activities.

3. To serve as unifying factor among the different offices and departments in matters of integral human and human and spiritual development.

4. To inspire, encourage and foster active and meaningful participation liturgical celebrations and religious devotions and other faith-related activities organized either by the School or by the local Parish.

5. To build ecclesial communities within the school campus for social transformation.
