Guidelines for Visiting Researchers

Service Description

Alumni and visiting researchers are allowed to use the library but they cannot take out any library material(s) for home use. Visiting researchers are required to present a referral letter from their Chief Librarian or head of the agency where they work/study. Alumni also required to present their alumni ID for identification purposes. Visiting researchers are required to pay the access/research fee, however, visiting researchers from the Recoletos and NOCEI members schools are free of charge.

Coverage

Paying Visiting Researchers

Students and researchers from other institutions or from non-Recoletos and non-NOCEI members schools.

Non-Paying Visiting Researchers

• Students, faculty and staff of the following:

o Recoletos schools in the Visayas, Mindanao and other parts of Luzon.

o NOCEI member schools

• Alumni of SSC-R de Cavite (all levels) and from the Recoletos schools in the country.

Research Fee

• Per day/researcher : Php50.00

Requirements

• Valid identification card issued by the school/institution.
• Referral letter signed by the Chief Librarian, head of the agency or authorized official.

Limitations

• On premise use of the library's collection and facilities (excluding access to Internet terminals and AV resources).    
• No visiting researchers (except those from the Recoletos schools) will be entertained/accommodated during  major examination (prelim, midterm and final) week, institutional holidays/celebrations and the like.
